Building on its long-standing tradition, the conference fosters scientific dialogue, interdisciplinary collaboration and connections between academia and professional practice.
Conference Overview
In an era of technological advancement, sustainability imperatives, and geopolitical uncertainty, Europe's economic and institutional landscape is being reshaped. The 17th International Scientific Conference “Business and Management 2027 – Managing European Transformation Through Industry-Science Collaboration” invites scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to discuss how these developments are transforming businesses, organisations, and markets, and how Europe can strengthen its long-term competitiveness and resilience.
This year's conference advances theoretical understanding and empirical insights into the economic, technological, and managerial dimensions of European transformation. It fosters an environment where academic rigour meets managerial relevance, promoting dialogue across disciplines and sectors. Particular emphasis is placed on industry-science collaboration, exploring how scientific knowledge can support business practice, accelerate innovation, and help address Europe's economic and societal challenges.
As Europe navigates the challenges of digital transformation, sustainability, and resilience, the conference will address key themes such as economic development, the green and circular economy, entrepreneurship and business technologies, innovation management, organisational resilience, finance and investment, and the legal and regulatory business environment. These themes will be explored from theoretical and empirical perspectives, with attention to their implications for business, management, and economic policy.
The International Scientific Conference “Business and Management 2027” is included in the official calendar of events for Lithuania’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2027. #LT27EU
