The paper deals with Business English language learning techniques: role play, simulation, projects and case study. The paper analyses Task-Based Learning method which is associated with the communicative approach. The major concern of the paper is the use of the case study method in teaching Business English. The paper emphasizes the benefits and opportunities of the case study method as well as the role case studies play in practising and developing business communication skills: meeting, presentation and negotiation as well as management skills: team working, decision making, problem solving , critical thinking and organisational skills.
