Enterprise risk management in practice of Polish small businesses – own research results

Enterprises taking an active part in the modern market economy must continuously develop and improve in order to survive. One of the fundamental processes that contribute to ensuring business continuity is the process of risk management. Micro and small businesses often overlook this element of economic activity, which leads to financial problems or bankruptcy. The purpose of this paper is to present, based on own research, the degree of risk awareness among small business, areas of risk specific to their activities, as well as the most effective ways to deal with such risks.
