In the Vilnius city sustainable mobility plan, the share of daily trips made by bicycles in 2030 is predicted to be 7.5% of daily trips. Taking into account the location of workplaces, residences in the city area and the way of land use, it is obvious that bicycle flow is not evenly distributed in the city. The purpose of the study is to create a cartogram of the distribution of bicycle flows after evaluating the functional zones of the city, the current and forecast distribution of bicycle flows, which would allow to evaluate the predicted bicycle flows in different functional zones of the city. The results of the study reveal the distribution of bicycle flows in the central, middle and peripheral zones of the city. The results obtained in the article are useful for evaluating the development of bicycle paths, selecting the technical parameters of bicycle paths. Keywords: cycle flow, functional areas, cycle paths, sustainable mobility.
