The “Belmontas” Entertainment and Leisure Center is located in the restored French (Belmont) mill, originally built in 1838 and abandoned after the mid 20th century. Renovation began in 2001, focusing on preserving authentic historical structures and harmoniously rebuilding missing elements. All authentic buildings and their parts were thoroughly preserved and restored, lost parts and elements were rebuilt maximally adapting the current designation to planned and spatial structures of the old mill buildings.

The later buildings of this area were reconstructed providing the ethnographic and regional character to their external architecture and interiors. While the new buildings harmoniously match with whole complex of buildings of the 19th century.

Neat surroundings, restored buildings and interiors of the halls enriched with ethnographic and antique pieces and furniture demonstrate some features of a lifestyle of people of Lithuania in the 19th century, their enjoyments and tastes. Thus, visiting this place, you can not only relax, enjoy a meal or entertain, but also get acquainted with various collections – from hunting trophies to antique works of authors of applied arts.

Vilnius citizens and guests of the capital also liked the outdoor cafe "Belmontas Waterfalls" (,,Belmonto kriokliai”) with a unique view at the noisy waterfall and the Joana Carinova’s Pub („Joanos Carinovos smuklė“) where you can taste traditional Lithuanian dishes.
