Abstract

General corporate social responsibility – the voluntary efforts of commercial companies to include social and environmental issues into their overall business activities and relationships with stakeholders. The article presents the concept of socially responsible business in the scientific literature. It distinguishes the most important aspects of CSR. Identify internal and external factors that have the greatest impact on the socially responsible business development. Also, pay particular attention to the Global Compact, which highlighted article as one of the key initiatives operating in the field of CSR at international level. Carried out in the EU Green Paper on ISO standards and analysis. Identifies key measures that would allow the development of CSR. The use of the scientific literature and document analysis.
