Big changes have taken place in renewable energy, due to the price jump of classic resources and technological progress. Thesechanges have influenced the growth of photovoltaic systems as an alternative energy source, the cost of installation of which has fallen by 70% over the past decade. The evaluating economic benefits provided by photovoltaic systems, the purpose of this article is to systematically analyze the most important aspects of the implementation for the business of photovoltaic systems and to determine the most important factors for the development of this business, assessing the potential for technology improvement, the development of state-supported power plants and the specifics of the business. This article will analyze not only theoretical insights, but the effectiveness of state capital schemes, encouraging residents to take risks together with the state and invest in photovoltaic systems, assessing the impact of state support and value added tax.
