Abstract

Banks are part of the financial sector, where innovations in new financial technologies are helping to develop new business models, operational programmes and products. The improvement of banking services and the development of new technologies contribute to the development of the financial sector and economic growth. This paper aims to examine the impact of financial technology on the performance of commercial banks. The object of the study is the impact of financial technology on the performance of commercial banks. The aim of the study is to examine the impact of financial technology on the performance of commercial banks. The paper examines financial technology and its application in commercial banks. The analysis of the literature identifies the impact of financial technology on the performance of commercial banks. The study employs the multi-criteria scoring method COPRAS and factor analysis to assess the impact of financial technology on the performance of commercial banks. The results of the study revealed which countries are leaders in the use of financial technology and which countries have the most favourable environment for the development of the financial technology sector.
