Evaluation of cryptocurrency platforms

Abstract

With the development of digitization processes, especially in the financial sector, part of the investment is moving to an absolute new digital product – cryptocurrency. On this basis, the evaluation of cryptocurrency platforms is becoming an increasingly important issue, as both investment security and the availability of financial instruments without changing the platform depend on the choice. Therefore, in the article, the TOPSIS multi-criteria evaluation method is applied to the ranking of cryptocurrency platforms through the publicly available data for the purpose of performing the evaluation of cryptocurrency platforms. The evaluation shows which cryptocurrency platform is more reliable and attractive to the end user.
