Abstract

The efficient use of production resources in the construction sector is a very important task for the competitive provision of a service or the production of a final product. This task can be implemented more efficiently using the Lean method, together with the use of digital technologies BIM (Building information modeling). With these tools, the end service or product can be achieved with fewer resources. The object of this article is the efficiency of the use of production resources in the construction sector. After analyzing the literature, this article identifies the stages of production processes, the use of production resources and examines the problem of resource waste in the construction sector. In the theoretical part, the research of production stages in the construction sector reveals the problem of resource waste, which is substantiated and illustrated by the results of an expert survey. The research method is an expert survey, and an expert evaluation test is used to obtain the results. The conclusions of the article summarize the results of the study and provide appropriate suggestions to help optimize the use of available production resources in the construction sector, using digital technologies and the Lean method.
