Developing directions of circular economy

Abstract

Linear economy is still the most widely used economics model in today’s business. On the other hand, because of growing populiation, increasing consumption, the usage of natural materials has increased quite heavily which can exceed oportunities of the planet. Although the circular economy model concept has been discussed a few decades ago, only today it is tried to develop more effectivelly in world‘s economy. Circular economy model creates opportunities for sustainable development, health, optimal working conditions while saving natural resources and nature. In this article the directions of circular economy development are described. In the first part, the literature analysis is given to describe the meaning of circular economy, its features, benefits and shortcomings, in the second part the Delphi method for research is given and in the fird part part the results of research are given and analysed.
