Abstract

The period of intense competition in the food industry sector seems to oblige the organization to develop and improve the effectiveness of management decision-making projects. Methods are used to increase the efficiency of an organization’s management one of which is a well-known and widely used management system approach. Adapted for businesses this management approach becomes more efficient in their business process bringing greater profitability along with a reduction in costs incurred. Food companies are implementing Lean industry management systems with greater challenges than other companies in the sector making them stronger in this approach. Testing the system takes a long time incurs significant financial loss and consumes human resources. Managing the food industry to streamline the organization and streamline processes is a major challenge. To solve this task a strategic action plan must be well prepared and analyzed and a decision-making model must be created with the help of which an appropriate decision will be made. The problem of the scientific article is why the food industry companies ignore the management method. The aim of the scientific article is to evaluate the potential of the lean methodology in the food industry sector based on the analysis of the literature. The scientific comparative analysis of the literature has been precisely performed the management decision-making models have been analyzed and a suitable systematized decision-making process model has been proposed to effectively improve the food industry companies by applying the lean management method system.
