The digital economy is an increasingly mentioned phenomenon that is becoming increasingly important, and digitalization is making the global economy increasingly global, fostering economic relations without borders. Thanks to new digital technologies, there are more participants in cross-border transactions than ever before, from small businesses to multinational corporations. Digital flows of data, information and communication allow ideas and innovations to spread around the world, enabling companies to pool the greatest resources and the best talent to create higher quality goods and services. Globalization took place before the advent of information technology, but there is no doubt that without information technology, globalization would never have progressed as fast as it does now. Given the dynamic transformation of the world, the ever-adapting changes, the growing confidence of businesses and consumers in digital products and services, the article aims to assess the impact of the digital economy on globalisation. Objectives: to substantiate the theoretical assumptions of the influence of digital economy on the processes of globalisation after the analysis of scientific literature; to develop a methodology for assessing the impact of the digital economy on globalisation processes; using the developed evaluation methodology, to determine the influence of digital economy on the processes of globalisation. The following methods were used for the research: analysis of scientific literature, comparative analysis, generalisation, correlation analysis, regression analysis. The method of correlation analysis was used to determine the strength and direction of the linear relationship; the method of regression analysis was used to determine the degree of dependence of the independent variable and the linear regression model and its suitability. The results of the study showed that the development of digital infrastructure, i.e. internet, online commerce access for residents, allows individuals and legal entities to operate globally with virtually no participation in foreign markets.
