In recent decades, with growing concerns in the global society about the goals of sustainable development, reduction of consequences of global warming and pollution, organizations are directly affected by these global societal priorities. The pursuit of sustainable development is a precondition for the emergence of green organizations. The analysis of global trends shows that there is a need not only for the creation of green organizations, but also for their development. It is noticed that in the scientific literature authors mostly do not examine the green organization in a complex way, but mostly emphasize a certain aspect of the “greenness” of the green organization. This study followed a resource-based approach, defining the concept of green organization through the “green” nature of its’ resources. This article reviews one of the resources of a organization - intangible resources with the aim to propose directions for strategic management solutions for the development of green organizations, increasing their green organizational identity in the context of intangible resources. For this research a review of the scientific literature was performed, a bibliometric analysis of the scientific literature and methods of comparative analysis, abstraction and synthesis were applied. In order to expand the analysis of scientific literature and to refine which components in the scientific literature of recent years are attributed to intangible resources, a bibliometric analysis of scientific literature was performed.
