Evaluation of single-unit production management efficiency: theoretical aspects

Abstract

In today’s market conditions, customers are becoming more and more demanding for unit production. The topic of single-unit production management has not been widely researched. The aim of this article is to overview and summarize the criteria for evaluating single-unit production management efficiency in a managerial context. To achieve the aim, the following objectives have been set: to examine the theoretical aspects of single-unit production, to determine the factors that influence management efficiency, to analyse the increasing efficiency possibilities: lean, management systems. The following research methods were used: analysis of scientific literature, comparison and identify criteria. Various authors emphasize the importance of management efficiency and innovation in today’s competitive environment. In order to maintain the competitive prices of goods and services, it is necessary to look for resources - to increase efficiency and productivity via technological or certain management solutions. This article reveals the essential factors determining efficient management, and the conclusions provide a summary of the management efficiency criteria.
