Aiming to assure equal opportunities, working groups and committees are established, a variety of politicies and procedures are developed. Moreover, the objectives of various states and unions have become long-term programs focused on elimination of social exclusion and discrimination. However, despite all these efforts, the majority of members in the management and boards is predominated by the men, rather than women. The purpose of this article is to assess the attitudes of women managers towards management and to determine whether these attitudes may have an impact on the overcommming of “glass ceiling”. The article analyzes the leadership styles of women leaders, their peculiarities, the prevailing characteristics of women leaders and the attitude to organizational change. It also reviews how women managers’ leadership and behaviors are similar or differ as compared to men during change. The article also investigates the origins of gender diversification and stereotypes and their causes.
