Impact of organization environment factors on leadership success

Abstract

In order to understand the state of the organization's activities, it is necessary to investigate the influence of the environmental factors on the management's success. Therefore, the purpose of this scientific article is to analyze the concept of the organization's environment, the concept of its leadership and the success factors. The environment could affect the organization's activities directly or indirectly. Managers of the organization are entrusted to control the organization's activities according to the operational objectives, and they are expected to deliver positive results, which then could be considered successful management. After analyzing the scientific literature and comparing the data of the survey concerning Lithuanian tourism employees, which has been carrier out by the experts of tourism, the factors determining successful management include planning, monitoring, innovations, financial resources, competitive environment and the ability to motivate one's employees.
