Abstract

Studies confirm that the match between the values of a person and organization is positively related to job satisfaction, commitment to the organization and reduces the employees' intention to leave. However, according to authors, value is one of those concepts that are not easy to define, because it is differently understood and interpreted. It is even more complicated when it comes to assessing the correspondence of two different entities (organization and individual values). This work defines the concept of values and evaluates the ways of classifying them… This article also describes the concept of organizational and individual compliance and how it is possible to assess the correspondence of values between an organization and an individual. This article is based on the systematic, comparative and logical analysis of scientific literature, scientific articles and periodicals, as well as on graphical data presentation methods.
