Unemployment in the globalization: changes and challenges

Unemployment has become a very significant phenomenon not only in Lithuania but also in the European context, in the context of the global economy, the ever-changing economic trends, especially after the huge global financial crisis in 2008. A high unemployment rate is one of the main signs of economic downturn. Unemployment in the country can be influenced by the processes of globalization, and its structural changes affect not only the state of development, but also the personal climate of the families. In all cases of the economic cycle, various measures and methods of controlling labor taxation and unemployment are applied by different countries in order to control labor market changes or unemployment. The development of global economies can have a positive and negative impact on unemployment. In a scientific article, the main object is unemployment. The goal is to reveal the main factors of globalization: the impact of migration, FDI, international trade on unemployment. Provides the most important statistics related to unemployment and globalization.
