Analysis of green business concepts and their application in construction sector

Abstract

The aim of this research is to investigate and identify the current environmental problems of today, to examine the definitions of green business and to present Lithuanian examples of green business. In the scientific articles find and identify most suitable measures for business “greening”, explain them and give examples of green business used by foreign companies. To describe the sector of construction and its relationship with environmental problems in the basis of statistical data. To name the infrequent concepts of 'green building' and 'green building techniques' in Lithuania and identify, describe and indicate, how they can help to develop the green business in the construction sector.
