Evaluation of effectiveness in transport industry services

Abstract

In this work there is an analysis of operational efficiency evaluation, also cargo transportation efficiency evaluation‘ factors and results. Analysis of main principles, that determine operational efficiency in cargo transportation field. In the first part there is a presentation of cargo transportation specifics and theoretical aspects of transport service activity. In the second part there is a presentation of particular companie‘s external and internal environments analysis also performance appraisal using horizontal and vertical analysis principles. Performance, profitability and debt ratios are calculated when evaluating companie‘s activities. In the last part there is a presentation of performance evaluation results and performance enhancement plan. In this final work there is an examination of companie‘s activities and how effectively company uses available resource
