Industry digitalization: challenges and trends

Abstract

In the context of globalization and economic transformations, the digitalization of industry is an effective tool for increasing business competitiveness. The summarized study aims to assess the changing view of the concept of industrial digitization and the trends of digitalization of the industry in the context of globalization challenges. During the research, the concepts and types of digitization, tendencies and trends of digitization are analyzed by analyzing, systematizing and summarizing scientific literature on the subject. Based on the results of the research, future trends of digitalization and strategic decisions for activating industrial digitization processes are identified.
