The effect of globalization on labour market

Abstract

Globalization affects many processes in the world. Economic globalization has impact on labour market which may show its effect differently in every country. Developing countries, lower qualified labour force contradict income inequality, low wages, and exclusion problems. By affecting labour market in different ways economic globalization adds to the solutions of these problems or their deterioration. The object of the research is the effect of globalization on labour market. The aim of the paper – theoretically reveal the channels in which globalization affects labour market. Research reveals the concept of globalization, how it concerns the modern economic problems; the channels of globalization impact were identified in accordance to previous researches; positive and negative consequences of globalization impact on labour force were notified. The methods applied in the paper: literature analysis, generalization.
