Abstract

Employee loyalty is employee‘s emotional connection with the organization and his desire to work in organization. In modern competitive environment, building employees’ loyalty becomes very important for the organization that seeks to have qualified and motivated human resources, as well as to create the image of reliable and attractive employer. When building employee loyalty it is relevant to choose appropriate tools. Their purposefulness depends upon the factors that determine employee loyalty. The performed analysis of scientific literature and comparative analysis of employee loyalty factors mentioned by Lithuanian and foreign scientists have shown that good interpersonal relations mostly determine employee loyalty. Salary, safety, recognition, possibilities for the development and employee evaluation are also important.
