The concept of organizational fit and evolution of its system elements and functioning in the context of knowledge society

In this article the concept of organizational fit and its elements are described. Due to progress and evolution the elements of this construct has changed and they are described in the present context as the perceived modification create new tasks in the modern organization. The main goal of this article is to disclose the concept of organizational fit and to identify its place in the management science. After characterizing an employee as the creator of the intellectual product and the workplace in todays organization, the tasks are formulated that would help to achieve organizational fit. This aspiration is recognized as the factor of competitive advantage at present moment, but in the long run it may become the force which impete the growth. Finally the concept of dynamic fit is presented which should help to conceive fit in a more flexible way. The research was conducted by using methods of scientific literature analyses, comparative analyses and interpretation.
