Abstract

The article, following the different scientific literature analysis, an overview of the place of selfgovernment system of public administration and its main features, Vilnius city municipality budget revenue and expenditure changes in the volume dynamics, identified reasons for the changes. In order to determine public attitudes to the ongoing municipal financial resources survey carried out in the city's population. Taking into account the results of that survey conclusions drawn up, proposals Vilnius City Municipality to improve the management of financial resources.
