Tourism sector development and trends

Abstract

At the age of urbanization, stress and stock of time, tourism became irreplaceable way to relax and revive energy. However, tourism is not simply traveling and source of pleasure or adventures, it is also one of the most productive and quickly-developing economic sector. According to WTO statistics 3 percent of employed population is working in tourism sector, and this industry creates 6 percent of World’s GDP. One tourist creates 11 work places in different sectors: restaurants, hotels, souvenir shops and ect. This article is focused on analyzing factors, which influence growth of tourism sector and tourism influence on economics. Also tourism trends what depend on social, demographic, economics, political and other factors are identified.
