Investing in the future - sustainable investment

Abstract

Financial investments and investment portfolios are becoming more popular because of higher level of living. However, a lot of investors do not consider risk and return sustainability and its' importance. This paper reviews advantages and disadvantages of sustainable investment and shows that in a long run socially responsible investment has more advantages than investment in other companies. Return received from investments is beneficial for all the stakeholders, not just shareholders. This paper reviews different articles and portfolio valuation models. Moreover, it suggests the simplified portfolio valuation model.
