Perspectives innovation management for high technology sector

Abstract

High technology sector is impacted by dynamic changes and requires adequate innovation management measures. Attention should be focused on open innovation paradigm and its influence on innovation processes and international collaboration activities. The aim of this article is to analyze contemporary theoretical principles for development of innovation in high technology sector and to analyze perspectives for fostering of Lithuanian high technology sector innovation activities. Con-temporary environment influences innovation activities and provides new possibilities for different partnership forms among companies. It is also important to pay attention on long term public support for high technology sector. In the context of this article main innovation main innovation management measures and their importance for high technology sector will be analyzed. Also networking perspective will be considered, to understand complexity of subject.
