Abstract

Exploring independent cinema marketing characteristics relationship between business and arts and the aspects how they supplement and support each other is discussed, also various authors marketing planning stages are compared and most important for independent film distribution marketing are excluded, like SWAT analysis and unique marketing strategy. Traditional marketing strategies by various authors are compared and motion picture marketing mix is discussed, those most important like slim segment and unique consumer needs set, that requires exceptional film distribution characteristics, are distinguished.
