Entrepreneurship education ensures the application of risk assessment, opportunity identification, and strategic decision-making in uncertain periods. The object of the research is higher education institutions in different fields. The subject of the research is the improvement of the entrepreneurial component of education in HEIs. The study aims to identify how improving entrepreneurship education in HEIs can contribute to enhancing their competitiveness. The study is focused on Ukrainian HEIS, applying the HEInnovate framework for research to assess faculty members’ perceptions through a structured survey. Using such methods as statistical interpretation of the survey and literature review, the study identifies which formal learning mechanisms and informal activities strengthen HEI resilience. The results of the research showed no significant variation by the institutional location, academic field, or faculty age, indicating the equal relevance of entrepreneurial education. The study concludes that the incorporation of entrepreneurial components in HEI curricula and governance management fosters adaptability, sustainability, and long-term institutional capacity, offering valuable insights for enabling HEIs to navigate in dynamic and uncertain environment.
